Standard rearsense™ - Simple, Compact, and Rugged
The rearsense Collision Warning Radar Systems are designed to help prevent heavy equipment collisions and accidents by alerting vehicle operators to potential danger in time to take action. From your delivery van to the mining haul truck, the rearsense obstacle detection systems will work in all of your work environments and will take what ever mother nature can throw at them. Robust design and potted circuitry ensures the reliability of these systems.
The Standard rearsense system is the third generation in the product line. Designed to be compact, durable, and reliable for blind spot detection and collision warning. This unit measures 5.25" in diameter and 1.25" thick. This product is very easy to operate.
The Standard rearsense™ is a solid-state, pulsed radar object detection system designed to alert vehicle operators to obstacles. The system detects both moving and stationary objects in a pre-defined coverage area and reports the distance of the closest object via visual range indicators and an audible signal to a vehicle operator.
The Standard rearsense™ consists of three major components: an environmentally sealed sensor, an operator display mounted in the cab of the vehicle, and a recommended external back up warning alarm. The system does not require frequent cleaning and will operate under harsh weather conditions, including temperature extremes, rain, sleet, snow, or fog.

Range and Applications
The Standard rearsense™ system comes pre-configured and ava ilable 3, 5 and 6 meter range sensitivities. The diagram at right shows typical width and length of all three range options. Choose the coverage area that best fits your vehicle and job site.
Standard rearsense can be utilized on almost any piece of equipment but it is designed for on-road and off-road vehicles, commercial vehicles (Step-up vans, Utility vehicles, and RVs), school buses, wheel loaders, telehandlers, and other machines.
By placing the unit in an un-obscured area, you are ensured to get the best detection coverage the system has to offer.
